SOBHA has announced an upcoming residential development in Miyapur, a northwest Hyderabad locality that serves as the terminal station of the city's Red Line metro corridor. The project, currently in pre-launch phase, represents the developer's continued expansion into established transit-linked neighborhoods.
The Miyapur Location
The Red Line metro covers 29.21 km and includes 27 stations from Miyapur to LB Nagar, with Miyapur serving as the western terminus since operations began on November 28, 2017. The Miyapur Metro Station connects to LB Nagar via key stops including KPHB, Ameerpet, Nampally, and MG Bus Station.
The Red Line connects several prominent residential hubs and major IT and business districts of the city. This strategic position makes Miyapur attractive for residential development targeting IT-sector professionals and corporate employees.
The neighborhood has undergone steady infrastructure development over the past decade. Pragathi Nagar, located 15–20 minutes from Miyapur Metro Station, has emerged as a popular residential area due to its strategic location near Kukatpally and access to the Outer Ring Road. Under Phase 2 of metro expansion, the Red Line is proposed to extend approximately 12 km from Miyapur to Patancheru with 7 new stations.
